Scan of 1968/1969 Selmer guitar catalogue (printed July 1968), showing the entire range of electric and acoustic guitars distributed by the company: guitars by Hofner, Gibson, Selmer and Giannini. These include the 1966 Kalamazoo brochure, Gibson Feel the Excitement leaflet and a number of print adverts featuring Trini Lopez, Wes Montgomery, Johnny Smith and Kenny Burrell.
This catalog features the following guitars, basses and amplifiers: Electric guitars: EmperorĪ number of other advertisements/brochures were produced by CMI in 1965/1966 with artwork by the same Canadian artist, Neil Boyle. Production did continue a little longer but was moved to Japan, with completely new guitar designs from 1969.
The 1966 Epiphone catalog was the last to be produced under the ownership of CMI, and the last to feature guitars built in the legendary Gibson Kalamazoo plant in Michigan USA.
